Going Coastal

by Melanie, June 27, 2013

Taking our inspiration from last week’s post, we’ve been hunting down fun ways to get that fabulous beach house look even though we don’t all have a fabulous beach house.

We fell in love with this painting when we saw it at market:
Natural Curiosities Silver Leaf Wave (it comes in Gold Leaf too!)

Fun pillows from Dash & Albert for fans of shellfish and sailors.

Arteriors Cassidy Lamp — totally tubular sea coral!

Driftwood inspired Arteriors Nantucket Floor Lamp

Like the driftwood look?  Here’s more: Currey & Co’s Leeward Mirror.
This Sea Fan fabric from Beacon Hill would make lovely drapes to frame a beach view.
Or perhaps you would like some sea turtles for your pillows.
Try this BAJA fabric from E Stout.
Pottery Barn metal starfish make great paper weights.
Store your hidden treasure in this Anna faux-shagreen box from Made Goods.
Giddy-up — we love this guy!  Regina Andrew Sea Horse.
Pretty Rachel wall sconce from Ro-Sham-Beaux.
Philippe Jar Lantern from Ralph Lauren Home.
Dune Vases from West Elm.
Whether you are sprucing up your beach house or bringing a little beach vibe into your city home, there are lots of great ways to go coastal.
Do it!
